To enable & encourage the use of technology in our School, we have installed Wi-Fi & LAN for the benefit of our Staff & Students. The entire school has Wi-Fi & LAN connectivity. Our organization has a high appetite when it comes to the use of technology on campus. We plan to innovate & improvise constantly to get the best techniques and trends globally.

E-Library

Our eLibrary is a collection of books, articles, videos, audios etc. in organized electronic form. Depending on the age group, the child will be able to access the database. In addition to hundreds of full text and full run journals and newspapers, eLibrary offers millions of eBooks, images, maps, websites and videos to support today’s classrooms. We have KINDLE© resources at the disposal of our staff & student. Digital Database makes the access & utility of these units an easy task.

School Management Software

This cloud-based online ERP ensures smooth functioning of the day-to-day school operations. The software is hosted on Google App Engine ensuring scalability and robustness. We believe that the school management, teachers, students and parents should get relevant and important information on a single screen. Every module in the school management software has user-friendly Dashboard with Graphical Representations. The School can focus more on efficient education delivery, as mundane clerical operations are taken care by software. It has immense advantages to all the stack holders of the organization;

Transport

The school provides transport to all students who wish to avail the service. Each year a detailed plan is worked out based on the new admissions in the school year. Bus stops are assigned to students from the Administration Office in the month of June/before the school reopens.

Our fleet follows all the rules laid under the Motor Vehicle Act for School Bus. The exterior design of the buses is done as per norms to make sure its proper identification as a School Bus. Every bus will always have an attendant (preferably lady) on board. The bus teacher, student bus monitors and attendants are responsible for maintaining discipline in the buses. Each vehicle is equipped with the right size and number of fire extinguishers and, a first aid kit. Although window bars have been provided in all buses, students are advised to take care and not lean out. The route safety of the buses is ensured by the GPS installed in them along with the Speed Governors.

The School has taken all precautions necessary for fire safety and emergencies that may arise. The school has sufficient number of fire extinguishers installed in the premises at various locations. We also conduct the Fire Drills & Emergency Drills as directed by the board.

The school also plans to incorporate the use of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) Cards in the near future which will be used to make the tracking of every student extremely smooth and efficient.

Safety & Security

Shamit School takes utmost care when it comes to the safety and security of its students. Every corner of the School is covered under the watchful eyes of our CCTV Surveillance. Students are monitored throughout the day whilst they enjoy their daily activities.
