Child Holistic Report

Child Fitness Report

It is important for all children to be physically active every day (a total of 60 minutes is recommended) even if they are fit. Health-related fitness includes a variety of factors. Our goal in developing the Child Fitness Report was to come up with a series of tests that covers the major components of fitness – Aerobic Capacity, Muscular Strength & Endurance, Flexibility, and Body Composition.

The Fitness Report will help you to evaluate your child’s fitness level. It provides information about the strengths and weaknesses of your child and monitors progress; not only about what the child scores from the tests on different components of fitness, but also gives feedback about how those scores relate to health. The Report measures the components of Physical Fitness that have been identified as important because of their relationship to the overall health and optimal function of the body. We have produced individualized fitness report card that summarizes performance of the child over an interval. The report also provides suggestions for promoting and maintaining fitness in the child. The accumulation of these report over years, allows for long term tracking of each child’s fitness over time.

The strengths and weaknesses of the child are measured by comparing the previous and current fitness test results. The Fitness report notes the fitness results taken in regular intervals twice in a year. This gives the parents clarity on the progress of the child’s fitness. The fitness test results are marked under 3 zones i.e. Healthy Fitness Zone (HFZ), Health Needs Improvement (HNI) and Health at Risk (HR). If your child is in the Needs Improvement area on a particular test, it is important to provide additional opportunities to be active so he/she can improve their levels of fitness. With regular physical activity most children will be able to score in the Healthy Fitness Zone for most of the tests. If your child is in the Health Risk Zone then it is not necessary that he/she has health problems but immediate precautions should be taken to increase the activeness of the child. The Child Fitness Report follows a five point grading system.

Child Multiple-Intelligence Report

Most of the schools & educational institutes focus most of their attention on linguistic and logical intelligence. However, Dr. Howard Gardner, the founder of the theory of multiple intelligence says that we should also place equal attention on individuals who show gifts in the other types of intelligence like the artists, architects, musicians, naturalists, designers, dancers, therapists, entrepreneurs and other who enrich the world in which we live. The multiple intelligence approach proposes a major transformation in the way we run our school. Teachers are trained to present their lessons in a wide variety of ways using poems, cooperative learning, art activities, role play, multimedia, field trips, inner reflection, and much more, so that each child has the opportunity to learn in ways harmonious with their unique minds. We conduct Multiple Intelligence of every Child once a year to mark the changing inclinations of the child. This cumulated data over the years will help the child & parents to take an informed decision when the time comes.

Child Health Report

The Child Health Report is the cumulated report of every child after physical inspection conducted by the doctors, once in a year. The checkup spans Eyes, Ears, Nose, Throat, Skin, Hair and Dental. This report gives us the details of the well being of the child. Regular checkups are very important in the formative years of every child. The report is created for students which would form a continuous part of their growth and development. This could form an effective monitoring and feedback system for the overall health of a child during schooling. Inference and action to be taken can be zeroed down only after completing general and medical examination. The doctor will be able to conclude whether the child is healthy or not. If the child is found to be unhealthy or suffering from any problem and needs treatment, he/she may be referred to a hospital or an expert.

Child Nutri & Toxicity Report

The School conducts the Nutri & Toxicity tests once a year. These tests are done by the school through a well-known company in the market who collect the blood samples of every child in a systematic process. The tests cover around 74 parameters that give us the whole picture of the deficiency & health of the child. The tests include Hemogram profile, Thalassemia, Kidney Profile, Blood Elements, Vitamin Profile, Thyroid, Iron, Liver Profile, Cholesterol Profile etc.

Child Diet Plan

Experts suggest that healthy eating is necessary for optimal brain development and functioning. Food intake can affect energy levels, concentration and learning. As we grow and change, our activities change, the rate and type of growth in our body is undergoing changes and consequently our food requirement changes. Through the Nutri & Toxicity Report that we acquire from experts, we can identify the variation of intake required by the child and we build an individual diet requirement of the child. The diet which contains different types of food in enough quantities and proportions so that the need for energy, proteins, vitamins, minerals, fats, carbohydrates and other nutrients in adequate amount is met for maintaining health, vitality and general well being. Not many are aware that the diet of different blood types is also different. Considering all these factors it was decided as a policy for the betterment of the child that catering the same food for all children in School is a wrong approach which will affect the children in the long run. Food requirements are different for every child in his stages of development depending on his health analysis and level of activity.
